Porsche's record at the Targa Florio is legendary! And 1967 is one of the years that contributed to the record of success: Porsche 910s finished 1-2-3 in the event. Car #174, powered by the 2.0-liter 6-cylinder motor driven by Leo Cella and Giampiero Biscaldi, finished first in class and second overall, beaten only by its big brother, the 2.2-liter, 8-cylinder prototype class 910!
Years later, the very car that ran so successfully at the Targa Florio, made an appearance at the Monterey Historics. Porsche was the featured marque and the cars that assembled for the event represented the best of the best; the most desirable Porsche cars on the face of the planet. In it's recently applied beautiful red, yellow and white paint, Exoto couldn't resist replicating this successful 910 in a limited edition.
